BaByliss PRO TT Radiant Heat Dryer for Color Treated Hair - BABTM5555 CustomerReview

My hair isn't colour-treated, but it is curly, and a lifetime of experience with it has taught me that resistance is futile. Conventional hand-held dryers, even with diffusers, blow some of the curl out (always managing to do it in an unattractive way), and also separate the curls so that they become fuzzy and take on a life of their own. Remembering that some of my best hair days were when my hair had dried under an infrared lamp, I decided to look for a dryer with infrared heat. This dryer fit the bill, and also has a high negative-ion output that helps close the cuticle (which is more open in naturally curly hair, leaving the hair more susceptible to damage, and less lustrous). It does an excellent job on my hair, when used on the lower fan setting. It's also surprisingly lighter than I had expected it to be, and I haven't found it necessary to use the stand.br /br /My only complaint (though not unexpected) is that it's rather too large to be considered a travel dryer, so I suppose I'll have to continue to hope for an infrared lamp in hotel bathrooms.
